Visit Sharress’ Caress in Act III:
To encounter Naoise and begin a potential romance, you must first progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey toward Baldur’s Gate, you’ll pass through the town of Wyrm’s Crossing. During your first visit to this area, you’ll need to meet Raphael at Sharess’ Caress, a notable brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into Baldur’s Gate.
If you’ve already explored Wyrm’s Crossing, you can conveniently use the South Span of Wyrm’s Crossing fast-travel point. This will take you directly to the entrance of Sharess’ Caress, making it easy to continue your adventure.
Look for Nymph’s Grotto:
Naoise resides in a unique chamber called the Nymph’s Grotto, situated on the second floor of the building. To find it, head through the door leading to the outdoor area. Look for the door marked by a glowing green light and walls adorned with creeping ivy—this is your destination. Though the door is locked, it can be opened with ease by successfully lock-picking with a roll of 10 or higher.
How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur’s Gate 3
Interact with Naoise:
Inside the room, Naoise and Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, were engrossed in a private conversation near the bed. Their interaction seemed intimate, hinting at a close bond. However, as you approached, Jara noticed your presence and a tense exchange ensued. Suddenly, the strange tadpole in her head connected with yours, amplifying the tension. Jara confronted you about this unexpected link, leading to a series of critical dialogue options.
- “Whoever you think I am, you’re mistaken.”
Jara invokes the Absolute’s name, only to undergo a horrifying transformation into a Mindflayer, presenting a formidable challenge you must overcome to progress. Once Jara is defeated, Naoise shifts her focus to you, expressing a surprising fascination with Mindflayers, even admitting she finds them intriguing and appealing. At this moment, you’re presented with several response options. Our choice was:
- “Your client is dead. I thought you’d be more upset.”
Naoise appears to have moved on from her feelings for Jara. A successful Insight check reveals that she is now open to exploring romance. However, this romantic encounter will be unlike any other, offering a unique and unexpected twist to the narrative.
- “That creature aroused you, didn’t it?”
Naoise had expressed excitement about encountering the Mindflayer, yet we decided to explore a different ‘flavor’ that might also capture the essence of what she was looking for. After considering several possibilities, we chose two compelling options, which ultimately paved the way for a captivating romance scene. This choice allowed us to blend unexpected elements, creating a more dynamic and engaging experience for the reader.
- “What did you have in mind?”
- ‘Close your eyes and listen‘
In this romantic encounter, the scene unfolds within the confines of your imagination. Naoise presents you with a thought-provoking question: “What will you be?” She offers a range of options, each leading to a distinct and unique response. The choices are carefully crafted, allowing you to explore different facets of your desires, dreams, and personality through the lens of this imaginative interaction. This intriguing proposition invites you to reflect on your preferences, shaping the narrative in a way that resonates with your inner self.
- Revered
- Contented
- Powerful
- Rich
- I think we’re done here.
In this scenario, the character has a brief romantic encounter with Naoise, chosen through a “contended” option. Once the encounter concludes, Naoise loses all further interest in the character, and if they return afterward, she will only offer the experience of “rapture” one time. It’s important to note that the character was already in a relationship with Karlach at the time, and while Karlach isn’t typically open to sharing her partner, she seems indifferent to this encounter.
This likely applies to all romanceable characters in the game. Additionally, after the interaction, Shadowheart will grant the player the ‘Carnal Rituals of Sharess’ inspiration point as a reward.
Note
After you successfully romance Naoise, she will provide you with the Rapture boon, which gives you a passive 1d6 for almost all types of ability checks.
